Here at TripIt, we take customer feedback very seriously. Over the years, we’ve received requests for new features for TripIt for Business. And today, we’re excited to deliver to you two of the most desired features we know you’ve been waiting for: group itinerary sharing and an iCal calendar feed.
Just as TripIt removes the hassle of organizing your individual travel plans, TripIt for Business does the exact same thing for the workplace. We take the magical power of our elves and bring it to your office where we help you keep track of who’s traveling when and where and help you know whether travel dollars are being spent wisely.
Personally, when I travel for work, I want to know what time my coworkers’ flights are so I can coordinate airport rides or know whether I need to rent a car. And especially with summer vacation season in full swing, I want to know when my coworkers are in and out of the office.
Here’s some more information about how our new features can help you solve these very problems and more:
Group itinerary sharing: You can now easily share the details of your trip such as flights, hotels, car rentals and meetings with the entire membership of any group to which you belong. Your fellow group members will see your trip as a shared trip on their trip list and can also access your trip details from the office travel calendar.
iCal calendar feed: Prefer to view your office travel calendar on your own calendar app? Your iCal feed automatically keeps your calendar in sync with your office travel plans on TripIt. Many applications support iCal, including Microsoft Outlook 2007, Lotus Notes 8.5 and and Google Calendar (Android and Gmail) and more.
