TripIt users who’ve recently upgraded to iOS 10, this one is for you. Last week, Apple’s iOS 10 update went live, and we’re excited to show you how we’re taking advantage of its newest features.

Throughout the year, we’ve been enhancing the TripIt app to make it more modern and streamlined, and Apple’s latest release lets us make life even easier for busy travelers like you.

TripIt for iMessage

You can now send your flight information, hotel reservations and ground transportation plans without leaving Messages—perfect if you’re hustling through the airport to board your flight and need to let your coworker know when you land.

All you need to do is select TripIt from the App Store for iMessage menu, and you’ll see a list of upcoming plans that you can share with family, friends and coworkers—even if they’re not a TripIt user. Click here for step-by-step instructions.

Rich Notifications for TripIt Pro Users

If you’re a TripIt Pro user, next time you get a flight alert you’ll notice we’ve upgraded them to rich notifications. Now you’ll see an expanded view that shows the summary of the flight and ability to react directly from the notification. Flight check in, cancellation and delay alerts have been enhanced, so if your flight ever happens to be canceled, you can instantly search for an alternate flight, giving you a leg up on other travelers.

Even Easier Sharing

Last but not least, sharing plans is even easier. You can now select multiple plans from your trip itinerary and send them by text or your favorite app, such as Slack, Evernote, WhatsApp or LinkedIn. You can also take a screenshot of your trip, and TripIt will help you share it through the app of your choice.

Be sure to download the latest version of TripIt in the App Store, and add TripIt to your iMessage App Menu.
