Every year, the call for speaking proposals for SXSW is extremely competitive, and this year is no exception. Over 3,000 sessions were submitted for the annual Austin gathering of cutting-edge technologies and digital creativity. Your vote could help send us deep into the heart of Texas next March. Public PanelPicker voting counts for 30% of the decision-making process in determining which speaking proposals will be accepted (the other 40% is determined by the SXSW Advisory Board and 30% by the SXSW staff). We’ve teamed up with industry luminaries from a variety of companies including Virgin America, Evernote, SoundCloud, Mint.com and Foursquare to lead discussions on interesting topics that matter to you – like how social media can make life for road warriors be less lonely and how technology is innovating and reinventing the way we travel.
