TripIt for TMCs is a program that highlights travel management companies (TMCs) within TripIt, the world’s highest-rated travel organizing app, so travelers can reach their TMC directly – anytime, anywhere – to change their plans or get help during their trip.

Travel reservations are integrated into TripIt through a direct connection with TMCs or itineraries forwarded to plans@tripit.com. When travelers book through their TMC, the TMC’s logo and contact details are highlighted alongside the travel plans within the TripIt app. If the traveler has TripIt Pro, flight alerts for delays, cancellations and more will feature the TMC, and point them to the TripIt app where they can click-to-call for assistance.

TripIt for TMCs gives TMCs a world leading turn-key mobile solution for their travelers to use while on the road. TripIt for TMCs highlights TMCs within TripIt so travelers can reach you directly – anytime, anywhere – to change their plans or get help during their trip.

TMCs who are interested in participating in the TripIt for TMCs program can go to tripit.com/tmc to get started. After providing some basic company information, the TMC will receive access to a portal that walks TMCs through the setup process.

TripIt for TMCs was designed for TMCs of all sizes, in the US or other English-speaking countries, seeking an easy way to provide high-level service to their clients by making it easy for travelers to reach them during their trip, and being top of mind anytime they need to make a change to their trip while on the go.

TripIt for TMCs makes it easy for travelers to get in touch with their company’s TMC when they need to make a change to a trip, which helps companies ensure that any last-minute changes remain in-policy. Additionally, when trips are disrupted, travelers can quickly call for assistance from the TripIt app, supporting the duty of care of employees.

TripIt for TMCs is currently supported on iOS, Android, and the web.

No, there is nothing that existing users of TripIt will have to do if their TMC is a part of TripIt for TMCs.

From the TMC perspective, TripIt for TMCs and TripLink are complementary in nature. TMCs that resell TripLink and participate in TripIt for TMCs have an opportunity to distribute TripIt to large groups of their travelers and will gain the visibility and connectivity of TripIt for TMCs as travelers adopt TripLink and TripIt.

TripIt for Teams is a tool for travel planners that help them organize travel for team members. It provides a central travel dashboard and the ability to create itineraries on behalf of their travelers. Every traveler on the team uses either a free TripIt or paid TripIt Pro account to access their individual itinerary.

TripIt for TMCs is currently available at no cost to TMCs or travelers. TripIt for TMCs is a partnership between TripIt and TMCs. TripIt will provide TMC accessibility to travelers, promoting high-level service to clients that’s just a click away. TMCs will help travelers understand how easy it is to organize their travel plans in one place.
