We’re so excited to be heading back to Austin this year for SXSW, and I’d be lying if I said the TripIt team hasn’t already started dreaming of scrumptious brisket, Austin craft brews, and our TripIt Travel Lounge.
What’s the TripIt Travel Lounge, you ask? Well if you’re headed to SXSW this year, you certainly won’t want to miss it. We’re setting up shop at Four Elements on Congress Avenue, right in the heart of all of the SXSW action, so conference attendees can have a place to relax, recharge (themselves and their devices), and enjoy free Austin-inspired food and drink. We have a whole agenda planned, which you can see below, as well as on our Eventbrite, but we specifically wanted to mention the all-star travel experts who’ll be hanging out with us at the lounge.
On Saturday, you can come hang out with Lee Abbamonte, the youngest American to travel to every country in the world. Yup you read that right: the world! He was such a huge hit at our SXSW travel meet-up last year, we had to bring him back. Come ask him all of your burning travel-related questions, or simply soak up his stories and prepare to be inspired.
On Sunday, swing by the lounge to have brunch with Brian Kelly, who’s also known as The Points Guy. With a name like that, you can bet that you’ll learn a thing or two about maximizing your travel rewards program points. At noon, jetting-setting couple Johnny Jet and Natalie DiScala will be hanging out, offering a “he said, she said” take on how to travel like a Pro.
Be sure to check out the full agenda below, and reserve your spot at the TripIt Travel Lounge on Eventbrite here: http://bit.ly/1EJMQdn
Whatever your mood, you’re golden in The TripIt Lounge. Feeling lively? Come refuel on Austin-inspired bites and spirits all while reliving the Golden Age of Travel with some of our favorite globetrotters. Need a break? We’ll help you depart from the action and arrive at relaxation. Recharge yourself and your gadgets in first-class style in our laid-back lounge.
*Please note that capacity is limited and priority admittance will be granted to SXSW badgeholders
