TripIt Pro users are passionate about reward programs, and one of our popular features in TripIt Pro is the ability to track these reward-program points in Point Tracker. Now, we’ve brought new functionality to Point Tracker that enables all-in-one tracking for your favorite and most-desired airlines.
If you’re unfamiliar with Point Tracker, it allows you to track total miles or points for each account, expiration dates, status levels, and recent activity. For most programs – from hotels and rental cars to credit cards and airlines – just provide the credentials you use to sign into your account, and we’ll help you keep track of your data.
We automatically track points and miles for the vast majority of reward programs. Now for American, Delta, and United – which were temporarily unavailable in Point Tracker – you can simply forward monthly or quarterly account statements to email@example.com. We’ll update the balance alongside all of your other reward programs in TripIt Pro, leveraging the same proprietary technology that creates a mobile itinerary when you forward travel-confirmation emails to firstname.lastname@example.org.
It’s all part of our mission to enable The Perfect Trip, and make your travels as easy and stress-free as possible. Email your frequent-flier statements for these four airlines today, and launch TripIt on iOS, Android, or web to check out your new points or miles balance.
Our goal has always been to give our users access to as many of their travel reward programs as possible. In addition to tracking points, with TripIt Pro you can:
- Get real-time alerts for delays, cancellations, and gate changes
- Find alternate flights with open seats, fast
- Get notified when the seat you want becomes available
- Get notified when you’re eligible for an airfare refund
- Share itineraries with your inner circle automatically
- Save money with VIP benefits from trusted travel partners
We’d love to hear any feedback you have about Point Tracker and this new option, so feel free to leave comments, questions, or anything else in the comments below. Also, be sure to see our tips on making the most of your travel reward programs because points are a terrible thing to waste.
