Your iCal feed automatically keeps your calendar in synch with your trip plans on TripIt. Many different applications support iCal, including Microsoft Outlook 2007, Lotus Notes 8.5, Apple iCal and Google Calendar.
Get your iCal feed and subscribe with your iCal-compatible calendar application. For detailed instructions, click on the application you're using, to the left.Select your application below

- Get your iCal feed.
- Copy the URL.
- Open a new browser window and go to Google Calendar. Click on the “Add” dropdown button in the "My Calendars" section on the left-hand side.
- Choose "Add by URL".

- On the next screen, paste the URL in the "public calendar address" field.
- Click "OK" to finish.
Manually import an iCal file to Google Calendar:
- On the trip itinerary page, click "Add to Calendar", then "Download calendar file".
- Open a new browser window and go to Google Calendar. Click on the "Add" dropdown button in the "My Calendars" section on the left-hand side.
- Choose "Import Calendar".

- On the next screen, browse for the calendar file you downloaded from TripIt, then choose where you want to save the calendar information.
- Click "Import" to finish.

Outlook 2007
Add an iCal feed to Outlook 2007:- Get your iCal feed.
- Select "Tools", then "Account Settings" in your Outlook 2007 Calendar menu.
- Select "Internet Calendars" and click "New".

- Paste the URL in the location field.
- Set up the display name for your calendar and/or add a description in "Subscription Options".

- To see your TripIt information, expand "Other Calendars" your navigation pane and select the "TripIt" calendar. Use the arrows on the calendar tabs to merge or separate your TripIt calendar and your standard Outlook calendar.

Outlook 2003
Manually import an iCal file to Outlook 2003:- On the trip itinerary page, click "Export to calendar", then "Download calendar file".
- Open Outlook 2003.
- Select your Calendar.
- From the Outlook Calendar Menu, select "File" then "Import and Export"

- Select "Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs)"

- Click "Next" and browse for the calendar file you downloaded from TripIt.
- Select the file to finish.

Apple iPhone and iCal
Add an iCal feed to your iPhone:Note: Make sure you're running iPhone 3.0 software or greater. This makes it easiest to subscribe to your calendar feed.
- On your computer, get your iCal feed and copy it into your clipboard.
- On your computer, email the link to yourself. Make sure you can receive that email on your iPhone.

- On your iPhone, view that email.

- If you tap on the link, your iPhone will ask you if you want to subscribe to the feed. Tab 'Subscribe'.

- After your feed has been loaded onto your iPhone, you'll see a confirmation message. Tap 'View events' to see the events from your TripIt iCal feed.

- In your calendar, you'll see your TripIt itinerary. Since you're subscribed to a feed, you won't need to sync it to your iPhone. It all comes from the cloud!
Add an iCal feed to Apple iCal:
- Get your iCal feed and copy it into your clipboard.
- Open iCal
- Select the 'Calendar' menu and then select 'Subscribe'

- Enter the calendar URL into the 'Calendar URL' field

- Click 'Subscribe' to load the feed into your calendar.

- After the feed is loaded, you have the option of changing some of the settings if you wish.

- When you're finished, your calendar feed should appear in the sidebar, and calendar entries should appear in your calendar.

Lotus Notes 8.5
To add an iCal feed in Lotus Notes, follow these steps:- Get your iCal feed.
- Go to Notes. In the "Views" panel of the calendar navigator, click "My Calendars" and then "Add a Calendar".

- Choose "iCalendar feed" from the “Add” drop down menu in the "Add a Calendar" box.

- Paste the URL in the "URL" field.
- Type the name you want to use for the calendar in the "Label" field.
- Set any other options you want and click "OK" to finish.
BlackBerry
Coming soon! The best way to sync TripIt with your BlackBerry.
