TripIt and Lexmark Announce a SmartSolution for Business Travelers
TripIt SmartSolution for Lexmark's Web-connected all-in-one printers keeps business travelers organized at the touch of a button
SAN FRANCISCO, June 21, 2010 -- TripIt (www.tripit.com) and Lexmark International, Inc. (NYSE: LXK) today launched the TripIt SmartSolution (http://smartsolutions.lexmark.com/) to make it easier for busy travelers to print their travel plans.
With the TripIt SmartSolution, travelers can easily manage their business and personal travel plans via the one-touch printer solution that connects to their existing TripIt account. Without even turning on their computer, travelers, their co-workers and families can easily print their itineraries using Lexmark’s award-winning, Web-connected, all-in-one (AIO) inkjet printers – Platinum, Pinnacle, Prestige and Interact.
Once installed, the free TripIt SmartSolution adds a "TripIt" icon to the touch-screen display on the Lexmark printer, which displays a list of the traveler's upcoming trips that can be selected and printed. Lexmark and TripIt developed the SmartSolution application to streamline travel organization, eliminate traveler stress, and help people save time.

Travelers can create a free TripIt account by simply forwarding their flight, hotel or additional travel confirmation emails to email@example.com, no matter where they book. TripIt automatically compiles this information and creates a master itinerary, complete with maps, directions, weather and whatever the traveler needs for their trip.
