Import Travel Itinerary to Google Calendar

How to Import a Single Travel Itinerary to Google Calendar

Forward your flight, hotel, car rental, or any other travel booking email to plans@tripit.com . This will automatically create your TripIt itinerary (and will only take a minute or two). Once created, sync up your TripIt account with your Google Calendar as follows:

  • On the trip itinerary page, click “Add to Calendar”, then “Download calendar file”.
  • Open a new browser window and go to Google Calendar. Click on the “Add” dropdown button in the “My Calendars” section on the left-hand side.
  • Choose “Import Calendar”.
  • On the next screen, browse for the calendar file you downloaded from TripIt, then choose where you want to save the calendar information.
  • Click “Import” to finish.


How to Import Multiple Itineraries to Google Calendar

TripIt can also sync multiple travel itineraries to Google Calendar automatically by creating a personalized ical feed. You can add your ical feed to Google Calendar by doing the following:

  • Get your iCal feed
  • Copy the URL.
  • Open a new browser window and go to Google Calendar. Click on the “Add” dropdown button in the “My Calendars” section on the left-hand side.
  • Choose “Add by URL”.
