If you’re anything like us here at TripIt, you use any excuse you can think of to travel, and summer is the ultimate excuse. With the countdown on, we know you’re experiencing the common pre-summer symptoms of inattention and frequent daydreaming. You’re dedicating (a little too much) of your work time to researching flights and hotels, and staring aimlessly out of the window imagining a summer of warm relaxation and wild adventure.

The world is big, and when it comes to chasing the summer sun and relaxing in the sand, the options are endless. So, we wanted to help you brainstorm a killer summer travel agenda. Here’s a list of adventures big and small, destinations near and far, and trips simple and lavish. You can do one or you can do them all. But, whether it takes you one summer or 50, we have a feeling this is one bucket list you’ll need to complete… in fact, we dare you to!
