Sign up for Facebook Connect for TripIt and you could be the lucky winner of a TripIt branded Flip video camera like the one pictured here!

Everyone who signs up by Dec 31, 2009 will be entered into a random drawing for one of three Flips. Winners will be announced on Jan 4, 2010. If you are a winner, we’ll contact you by email to let you know. Just connect your TripIt account to your Facebook account to sign up.

BTW, if you haven’t used a Flip before, it’s a simple lightweight camera that takes great video clips, and you can download the videos directly from your Flip with its built-in USB connector. It’s very cool, and a great way to share your travel videos with online friends.

In order to set up automatic trip publishing, sign onto TripIt using your Facebook log in and password, then click the link in the upper right hand corner of your profile page that says "Find friends and share trips with Facebook Connect" and follow the steps. It only takes a second or two.

So, how do you know if you've linked up? I've got it in my facebook apps list, but I still have a "link up to facebook!" link on all my pages, and I can't seem to turn on auto-posting of notification to facebook in my account settings..

Now all we need is to be able to find our friends on TripIt using our Facebook accounts, and the circle of life would be complete :)
