When going on vacation, some people prefer to travel by plane to the place they want to visit and then try to reach the places of interest by public transport or on foot. There is nothing bad in this attitude, but unless the public transport system is excellent, this may prove to be difficult, resulting in time wasting. By renting a car, most of which are accompanied by a GPS navigator loaded with maps of the place, more adventurous travellers can reach places which are not served by the public transport, and can enjoy the places at their own pace, with no rush to reach the next train or bus.

Perhaps the discount was only for April 10, but the notice does not say that. When I made arrangements to rent a car today [April 14] I received only a 5% discount -- not 10% as the notice says. You need further negotiations with Hertz or you need to change the notice.
